She had been born into a sporty family. Taft competed at various levels in both school and college and then made the decision to become a broadcaster. After graduating with a diploma in broadcast journalism at Boston University Taft embarked her career with Fox Sports North as a local affiliate and sideline reporter. The reporter also reported on sports, worked on social media and acted as host at various functions. As soon as she started being employed by Fox Sports 1, her team of News and Highlights, Taft was bumped. Taft was a reporter for FS1 and covered numerous famous events. In addition, she was an on-field journalist for football as well as the chief of college journalism with Gus Johnson. In the year 2018, she made headlines when she was chosen to serve as the moderator for The TV show Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. This is an area she continues to fill today.
